As part of the Biobest Group, Biobest Antalya is a key player in the production and distribution of biocontrol and bumblebee pollination solutions. Located in Antalya, Turkey Biobest Antalya (BBA) is poised for growth in existing and emerging market segments. 

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive the growth of our business. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies in line with the company's vision, mission, and objectives. They will inspire and guide our sales team to achieve targets, analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and promote our products and services effectively. Additionally, the Sales Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop sales & marketing objectives and action plans in accordance with the company's vision, mission and strategies, sharing these plans with the sales team, ensuring their adoption and implementation.
  • Implement global and local business unit strategies with the team and evaluate the results.
  • Lead and inspire the sales team, provide guidance and support to ensure team success and boost morale and motivation.
  • Analyse market trends, identify opportunities, and formulate action plans to introduce and promote new products&services
  • Lead and participate in visits to existing/new customers by sales offices when necessary.
  • Develop the annual budget plan of the sales department, monitor actual and planned budget at regular intervals, and take precautions and action when necessary.
  • Take ownership of the sales forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with the BBA strategy.
  • Take necessary actions to examine and resolve customer complaints to increase customer satisfaction, and take preventive measures to prevent reoccurrence. 
  • Collaborate seamlessly with international cross-functional teams, including Group Sales, Supply Chain, Product Development, Operations and Finance.
  • Lead efforts in acquiring new markets and customers.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agriculture Engineering,
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in field sales and technical support, preferably in the agriculture industry and proven track record of leading a sales team
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills,
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications,
  • Strong management, communication, multitasking, and prioritization skills,
  • Ability to report effectively, deliver compelling presentations, and manage time efficiently,
  • Willing to travel internationally 1-2 times per year
