Biobest Group has the pleasure to announce the arrival of Mr. Jean-Marc Vandoorne as Chief Executive Officer of the Group (Biobest N.V.). Mr. Jean-Marc Vandoorne will lead the Executive Committee and will manage the Biobest Group activities.
Married, father of 3 children, commercial engineer, Jean-Marc Vandoorne started his career in 1992 at Arthur Andersen. After several years of financial audit, he switched over to the consulting department where he was in charge of projects in strategy and logistics. After a short experience as Supply Chain Manager at Mobil Plastics Europe, he joined Laundry Systems Group (Belgium) as Chief Operating Officer in 1999. In 2001 he became the President of the Commercial Laundry Equipment Division, responsible for the product development, the production and the worldwide distribution of commercial laundry equipment. After the take-over by US based Alliance in 2006, he became part of the global Management Team of the newly created group.
Jean-Marc succeeds Christian Van Osselaer who will become executive President of the board of directors of the Biobest Group. Christian Van Osselaer will still be active and support the Group, mainly in R&D and Business Development. As the Chief Executive Officer of Biofirst, he will also continue to develop the mother company of Biobest Group and create synergies with sister companies.
We are convinced that Jean-Marc together with the other members of the Executive Committee will enable Biobest to live up to its ambitious objectives.
