A robust plastic trap for monitoring lepidopteran pests

The Funnel Trap consists of a funnel section and a bucket. A central pheromone dispenser holder is located on top of the funnel under an umbrella type cover. The traps are used in combination with pheromone dispensers.  
Insects attracted to the trap fly around the pheromone dispenser until exhausted and then fall into the trap. Insects find it impossible to fly out of the bucket and will eventually be killed by the use of a soap water solution inside the bucket.
