Droso trap

Biobest has conducted trials to develop a reliable and selective method of trapping Drosophila suzukii. Our DROSO TRAP^® has, therefore, been specifically selected for efficient attraction of drosophila. Once adults are trapped inside the Droso trap they eventually will be drowned in the liquid attractant. The main attractant of this trap is DROS’ATTRACT^®, combined with the Droso trap, it will catch an average of 3.3 times more Drosophila suzukii than other attractants, such as apple cider vinegar (ACV). This enables a fast and quick detection of the pest in many sensitive crops such as berries and orchards.
