Monitoring the South American tomato moth

Biobest is distributing a pheromone lure, which is widely implemented in an IPM strategy to detect and monitor the South American tomato moth (Tuta absoluta). The lures can be easily introduced in a special designed Tutasan watertrap or a Delta trap. For a period of at least six weeks, male moths are attracted by the lure and are captured in the trap, giving a clear view of the size and evolution of their population.
