SAP Data Migration Engineer

Currently, we are on the verge of rolling out SAP, starting in Belgium and continuing the implementation in 26 (and counting) international subsidiaries. In the further SAP roll out the migration of legacy data towards the SAP platform will be in your capable hands as SAP Data Migration Specialist.

Your mission

As member of the SAP S/4HANA roll out team you work together towards the successful implementation and Go Live of SAP in every subsidiary. Close cooperation with the Project Manager, external partners, and all stakeholders in the organisations makes your role interactive as well as technical.

The job in 4 words: Expertise; Data; Guidance; and Design. Your responsibilities in more detail:

• You gather the migration requirements from the business in line with the technical constraints.
• You take the lead in the creation of data migration and cut-over plans.
• You design specific project related ETL architectures and flows to support the data migration (extraction, enrichment, cleansing, standardization, validation, and load).
• You provide expert knowledge on methods, tools, etc. to be setup and used.
• You help team members with migration inquiries by sharing advice and knowledge.
• You are hands-on and take up day-to-day data migration tasks.
• You ensure the data quality of the migration for all requirements (functional and technical).
• You make sure you keep up to speed with the rules and definitions of master data in SAP S/4HANA as well as with the tools used.

What do we expect from you?

• An education in ICT is required for this role.
• MS Office should not have any secrets.
• Knowledge of and/or experience with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC is a huge advantage.
• WinShuttle knowledge is a nice to have. As is the knowledge of MS SQL Server.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English.
• You love to connect and collaborate with people and get them on board of your mission.
• You are a good planner, and you get things done as an eager professional and collaborator.
