Today, we are welcoming a Crop Specialist who will play a pivotal role in driving our mission forward, serving as the bridge between our groundbreaking products and our valued customers in Limburg & Kempen.

Your mission

As the primary point of contact for both existing and prospective customers in Limburg & Kempen, you cultivate strong relationships by understanding their unique needs and by offering tailored solutions that maximize the benefits of our biological crop protection & pollination products. You provide expert advice and guidance on product selection, application methods, and best practices to optimize crop yield and quality. You collaborate closely with our Customer Service team, and you report to the Area Sales Manager. 

Your responsibilities

  • Conduct on-site visits to customer farms and horticultural operations, offering hands-on support, troubleshooting assistance, and conducting product demonstrations as needed.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product enhancement or development. Collaborate with the sales team members to relay market insights and contribute to the strategic sales goals.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions, workshops, and seminars for customers and internal stakeholders, sharing knowledge on the benefits and proper use of our products?
  • Work closely with the customer service department to ensure seamless order processing, timely delivery, and exceptional after-sales support.
  • Collaborate with the Area Sales Manager to develop and implement sales strategies, achieve targets, and expand our market presence in Belgium.

What do we expect from you?

  • You have obtained a bachelor’s degree in agriculture, horticulture, biology, or a related field.
  • You have experience in agricultural sales, agronomy, or crop consulting, with a strong understanding of the Belgian horticulture and/or agriculture market.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers and colleagues.
  • Fluent in Dutch with proficiency in English, knowledge of any other language is a plus.
