30/10/2020 - Philippe Marchenay is a crop advisor at Bordeaux- based distributor Vitivista and has collaborated with Biobest for over 20 years. Today he works with Biobest’s Thomas Doron, advising and supplying IPM products to market gardeners and commercial growers in the Landes-Pyrénées region of South-West France.
“In my role I advise smallholders growing a range of vegetables and ornamentals, as well as small to medium size growers of summer and winter vegetables and strawberries - about 50% of which are organic,” says Philippe. “I also work with young plant producers and specialist growers of Espelette chilli peppers – a specialist crop grown here in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department.
