The official inauguration saw the participation of important personalities such as the Belgian ambassador in Mexico, the Belgian consul in Guadalajara, the Commercial Attaché of Belgium, personnel from the Canadian Embassy, the CEO of Biofirst, the Manager of Biobest Mexico and the Manager of Biobest Canada, among others.
The guests were first given a warm reception at the facilities of Distribuciones Imex, our distributor in Mexico and then headed towards the newly built production plant. After the traditional cutting of the ribbon and speeches from different dignitaries, the attendees were treated to a tour of the facilities. Later, guests was invited to a dinner by Distribuciones Imex.
The state of the art production plant in San Isidro Mazatepec, in the heart of the state of Jalisco, marks a pivot point for Biobest' activities in Central America. With the opening and the start of bumblebee production, Biobest is able to guarantee its customers with a continuous supply of healthy, high quality and locally produced pollinators. This will certainly give a boost to the Mexican protected crop industry.
