Biobest to feature at International Floriculture & Horticulture Trade Fair

6/11/2019 - The International Floriculture Trade Fair (IFTF) - organised by the International Organisation of Floriculture & Horticulture – is being held in the Netherlands this week. Now in its fourth year, this three-day trade show (6-8 November) promotes the fresh flowers and plants trade with the goal of boosting consumer consumption. Besides inspiration, visitors can find more information about the latest trends at the forefront of the sector and, of course, Biobest will be there too!

As a worldwide pioneer in biological pest control, Biobest is participating in the event by sharing its extensive expertise in various ornamental crops, including cut flowers and potted plants. Crop specialists at Biobest will be on hand to provide advice and present a wide assortment of products for this sector. Members of our IPS team will be joined by colleagues from Biobest’s subsidiary Real IPM.

“We are looking forward to welcoming regular customers to our stand, as well as making new contacts at IFTF,” explains Fonny Theunis, Sales Manager at Biobest. “The trend we see is that growers from all over the world are considering biological pest control to be increasingly important for ensuring strong and healthy crops. Distributors, as well as consumers, want residue-free ornamental plants produced in a sustainable manner. Biobest colleagues are happy to take this opportunity to give growers customised advice.”

Around 300 exhibitors, from more than 30 countries, will participate in the show - which is expected to attract over 25,000 visitors. This makes IFTF the largest event in this sector and an unrivalled platform for the newest and most innovative products as well as a forum to discuss the latest developments.

IFTF will be held in Vijfhuizen, the Netherlands, from 6 to 8 November. The Biobest stand is located at C5.22.
