Biobest prominently present at Fruit Logistica 2011

Fruit Logistica in Berlin is the world’s largest fruit and vegetable trade fair. And it keeps on growing every year, both in size and importance for the sector.  With 56 000 trade visitors (4% more compared to 2010) from 132 countries, Fruit Logistica attracted a record number again this year.  It is considered ‘The place to be' for all important players in fresh produce.

Biobest, its distributors and subsidiaries were prominently present at Fruit Logistica, with a beautiful booth exhibiting the new fresh Biobest-style. Biobest could show off with some new and innovating products:
·         Macropilis-System, a new, very effective predatory mite of spider mites (especially in tomato) that excels with its mobility and strong population build-up.
·         The new ventilation hive, a bumblebee hive with improved temperature and humidity regulation.
But what is even more important, is that Biobest profiled itself as an innovative global player in the field of sustainable crop management.
This was enforced by the presence of many international Biobest partners. To finish the Distributor Days, organized earlier that week in Belgium, a large delegation of international distributors visited Berlin.
