Biobest Distributor Days 2013 in Agadir, Morocco

What was the buzz in Agadir, Morocco on 4-6 November 2013? More than 90 participants gathered from all over the world for the second edition of the Biobest International Distributor Days. Biobest’s innovations in pollination and biological control, served in a spicy mix with November sun, couscous and Moroccon horsemen. Biobest and its international partners are both putting their shoulder to the wheel! Their goal: to help more growers produce in a healthy and sustainable way.


The Distributor Days provided the perfect setting for in-depth discussion of Biobest’s 2013 innovations (Flying Doctors^®, Nutrimite^™ en Dyna-Mite^®). Different distributors took the floor and talked about their own experiences.
After a first edition in Antwerp in 2011, the 2013 location was chosen so as to allow putting another Biobest branch in the spotlight. Biobest has a major site for the production of beneficial insects close to Agadir. The visit to the production facility, the quality control laboratory and a local tomato production of Azura -Biobest’s partner and Morocco’s largest tomato producer- were very much appreciated.


Of course there was also time for relaxing and for a lot of informal exchange of ideas and information. Jean-Marc Vandoorne, CEO already offered a preliminary glimpse at the next edition and concluded “Biobest and its distributors work together closely with one major goal: to excel in serving growers worldwide. An event like this shows that we invest in building an intense cooperation and in continuous exchange with our distributors. This will benefit all growers who use Biobest products.”
