Agrotech Gartenbautechnik opens new facilities and gains Platinum status as Biobest partner

Agrotech Gartenbautechnik’s new state-of-the-art facilities in Vienna were officially opened at the beginning of March at an event attended by over 400 growers and influencers from the industry.

A leading horticultural supplier in Austria, Agrotech, provides growers with everything from Biobest’s comprehensive range of biocontrols and bees for pollination, to fertilizer, young plants, irrigation equipment and other supplies for the horticultural market. The company holds exclusive distribution rights for the Biobest range in Austria.  

The impressive new premises include a warehouse with specialist cooling facilities, a laboratory for pest and disease identification services and an on-site retail outlet.   

“Biobest has enjoyed a long working relationship with Agrotech,” says Dirk Aerts, Biobest area manager for North and Western Europe. “We work closely with the dedicated bio team – Kathi, Andrea and Barbara − who are well known and respected in the industry. The new cooling facilities will provide an optimum environment for Biobest living products before they are reallocated to fulfill growers’ orders.
