How does the McPhail Trap^® work?

• The base of the trap is filled with a soapy water solution
• The flies or mosquitoes are naturally attracted to the pheromone
• They fly into the trap through the inverted funnel
• Once inside the trap, the insects remain attracted by the pheromone and by the light and do not find their way out anymore
• The flies become tired and drown when they fall into the soapy solution
